AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR / AED
BLS is the foundation for saving lives after cardiac arrest. This video-based, Instructor-led course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both in-facility and prehospital settings. Professions that usually need a BLS certification include nurses, nursing assistants, medical assistants, respiratory therapists, dentists, dental assistants, paramedics, EMTs, police officers, firefighters, physical therapists, occupational therapists, etc.
Upon passing the skills and written test, the student will receive an American Heart Association BLS certification card that is valid for 2 years.

AHA Heartsaver CPR / AED
This is a video-based, instructor led course that will teach you to recognize cardiac arrest, get emergency care on the way quickly, and help a person until more advanced care arrives to take over. The course also covers adult choking and naloxone. Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for a job, regulatory (for example, OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. For many Heartsaver courses, students receive a course completion card that is valid for 2 years.

AHA eLearning and Blended Learning options
AHA eLearning courses give students the flexibility to learn at their own pace and on their own schedule, anywhere and anytime an internet connection is available. eLearning courses are fully self-directed, and do not require a separate skills testing.
Blended learning combines eLearning, with a hands-on skills session. The skills session is completed in person with an AHA Instructor or using a Voice Assisted Manikin (VAM), where available.

ASHI CPR / AED
ASHI's CPR and AED training course is designed specifically for laypeople, and is an excellent choice for CPR and defibrillator training in both community and workplace settings. This extremely flexible program will help prepare individuals to respond to sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and choking incidents. This CPR and AED course conforms to the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC.
